This year I will be working on a new project called The Fibonacci Sequence. Every other month, I will be releasing new music, starting with the month of January. Some of the music will be instrumental, some will have vocals. I’m excited about being in a season of regularly writing and releasing new music. The numbering of the EPs will follow the Fibonacci sequence: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, etc. I love it when there is a layer of organizational intentionality behind something beautiful, and that is what the Fibonacci sequence is all about.
Tortilla Factory took shape over the course of six years. Amidst all kinds of musical projects, albums, film scores, tours and life changes, these songs just kind of materialized. Over time I found myself with a pile of songs that were very special to me. These are those songs.
